श्रीलंका ( आधिकारिक नाम श्रीलंका समाजवादी गणतांत्रिक राज्य ) 

श्रीलंका (आधिकारिक नाम श्रीलंका समाजवादी जनतांत्रिक गणराज्य) दक्षिण  में हिंद महासागर के उत्तरी भाग में स्थित एक द्वीपीय देश है। भारत  के दक्षिण में स्थित इस देश की दूरी भारत से मात्र ३१ किलोमीटर है। १९७२ तक इसका नाम सीलोन (अंग्रेजी :Ceylon) था, जिसे १९७२ में बदलकर लंका तथा १९७८ में इसके आगे सम्मानसूचक शब्द "श्री" जोड़कर श्रीलंका कर दिया गया। श्रीलंका का सबसे बड़ा नगर कोलम्बो  समुद्री परिवहन की दृष्टि से एक महत्वपूर्ण बन्दरगाह है।

Solution :-
                 Let the second number be -  x  , first number =  2x
                                                                                                   3  
                  according to the question,

                                                         = x + 2x   = 60

                                                                   3
                                                         =  5x  = 60
                                                              3
                                                         =  x = 60 *3   = 36

             so, the second is   -  2  * 36  = 24         Ans.

Q1. A man spends 30% of his salary for house rent and 75% of the remaining in the other work.

What percent of his salary does he save?

Solution:-

                   Let the salary be 100 Rs.

                   then 30% of his salary = 100*30/100= 30

      here,  remained part of his salary is = 100-30= 70

      Now again , 75% of remaining salary = 70 *75/ 100 = 52.5

      so, saving is = 70-52.5=17.5 

hence , 

           he saves 17.5% of his salary .
