किसी वस्तु का विक्रय मूल्य 819  रूपये है यदि उसपर 10 % छूट दी जाती है।  यदि 20 % छूट दी जाये तो          वस्तु का विक्रय मूल्य क्या होगा?

                     Solution:-     Let the CP be    = Rs. x

                                                                   x =  819 ×  100

                                                                            90

                                                                      =   910 

      given that 20 % discount on CP, 

                                                                 =    910 ×80     = Rs. 728  

                                                                         100            

      Hence the selling price of an article after 20% discount is Rs.  728
